Have a Fortune piece you no longer wear? Bring it back to us. We’ll clean it, certify it, and find it a new home. You pay the shipping to us at cost, and when it sells, choose your payout:
40% of the sale or 80% in store credit, to use on anything in the store.
Step 1
Start with the form on this page — or email consignment@fortunewigs.com.
Please include:
• Your order number (if available)
• The email address used when purchasing
• Approximate purchase date
• The piece’s approximate value: under $750, $750–$2,000, or over $2,000
• Any repairs, coloring, cutting, or alterations done to the piece
This helps us verify eligibility and review your wig’s history before moving forward.
Step 2
Once eligibility is confirmed, we’ll invoice you for the shipping to us, at cost. It’s insured to match the approximate value you chose: up to $750, or up to $2,000. For a piece worth over $2,000, we’ll call you before any label goes out. Once the invoice is paid, we’ll email your label with packing instructions.
Carefully package your wig and send it to our salon for professional evaluation.
Step 3
Once your wig arrives at our salon, our stylists and repair team will carefully inspect and evaluate it.
We will determine the final resale price based on condition, demand, age, and market value.
Please note:
• Pricing determined by our salon is final and non-negotiable.
• If you choose not to go ahead, you can ask for your wig back.
• A $30 cleaning and processing fee applies to all accepted pieces.
We will email you the final resale price along with an invoice for the $30 fee.
Step 4
To proceed, you must:
• Approve the final resale price
• Pay the $30 cleaning/processing invoice
Once approved, our team will:
• Professionally clean and prepare your wig
• Photograph and list it in the Fortune Pre-Owned Consignment Shop
• Market it for up to 90 days
As a temporary introductory offer, once your eligible Fortune, Tuni or Mazali wig is accepted and publicly listed for sale, you receive a customer-specific, single-use code for 20% off your next purchase.
If your wig has not sold within 90 days, you may choose one of the following:
Step 5
Your payout is arranged about 20 days after the sale. That allows for the buyer’s ten days to return the wig, counted from the day she receives it, plus shipping time both ways. If a return is pending, it must be resolved before the sale is final.
Once the sale is final, you choose your payout:
• 40% of what the buyer paid, paid out to you
OR
• 80% in store credit toward anything in the store at Fortune Wigs
Store credit offers the highest return value.
How the 40% is paid: in cash, by check or by Zelle, at our discretion.

Sending this request is free, and nothing is listed until you have seen the price and said yes. A real person reads every request and writes back.
Fortune Pre-Owned is for pieces that began with us. We take wigs originally bought from Fortune Wigs — our Fortune, Tuni and Mazali lines — because that is how we can stand behind every piece we resell.
