If your scalp feels tender, comfort deserves attention before styling. You should not have to keep wearing a piece that hurts.
Notice where the discomfort is
Tell us whether you feel pressure at the temples, pulling from an attachment, rubbing at an edge, or discomfort across the scalp. That detail can help a wig professional understand whether fit or construction needs adjustment.
If pain, redness, sores, or irritation persists, contact your clinician or dermatologist. A cap change is not a diagnosis or treatment for a skin condition.
Compare what touches the scalp
Seams, clips, lace edges, liners, and adhesives can feel different from person to person. A lighter cap is not automatically the most comfortable. Ask to see the inside and discuss the actual materials and attachment.
If you have little or no hair, do not rely on clips that need hair to hold securely. Ask about appropriate alternatives.
Keep the routine gentle
Prepare your own hair without tight pulling. Ask your care team which scalp products are suitable during treatment or when the skin is sensitive. A product intended for wig hair is not automatically intended for your skin.
Take the next step at your pace
We can help compare fit and construction without asking you to share more personal information than you want. Check current purchase and return terms; online orders are not a try-before-payment program.
