Choosing a Wig Style You Will Enjoy Wearing
A photograph can introduce you to a look you love. Your everyday routine helps you decide whether you will love wearing it.
If you are still deciding whether to keep a new piece, check the return terms before washing, styling, cutting, or adding products. The care advice below is for a piece you have decided to keep.
Begin with the detail that draws you in
Is it a soft bend through the ends, a swept part, a fringe, or the way the hair moves? Save a few examples and name the detail you want. You do not need to copy the entire photograph.
Try a reversible change first
A different part or a gentle change in finish may help you explore the look before cutting. Ask what your cap and hair texture allow. A heavily styled photograph does not show the time or technique behind it.
Think about the mornings between appointments
Consider how often you will wear the piece, whether you use heat, and how much maintenance you want. A style that requires regular setting may not suit the same routine as a natural finish.
If you are considering a fringe or shorter layers, discuss how they will sit when the hair is freshly washed as well as styled. Agree on what can be maintained at home.
Make color decisions carefully
Compare the actual piece in natural light and ask about previous processing before planning a color change. More lightening is not automatically possible or appropriate.
The right next style can be a subtle adjustment or something different. Show us what you like, and we can help you think through a realistic plan.
